Real estate sector issues in spotlight

MANAMA: Bahrain Property Developers Association (BaPDA) is to take part in a number of industry related exhibitions in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Dubai in the coming months.

First on the schedule is the Kuwait International Property Show (KIPS) organised by Top Expo Group.

The success of KIPS 2011 has shown the potential that the market holds for companies from the GCC as well as from international fields.

KIPS 2012, to be held in September, will deal exclusively with property, finance and investment.

The exhibitors will highlight their projects and investment programmes to Kuwaiti investors and residents. It will be a platform and a proven opportunity for companies to get to know new investors in addition to marketing projects.

“We are committed to working in proactive partnerships with industry experts and committed professionals to ensure that the property development sector develops rapidly and in an organised, efficient and ethical manner,” said BaPDA chairman Aaref Hejres.

“We are excited to be involved in several events in the coming months that will catapult our industry to the forefront. Through our efforts BaPDA seeks to throw the spotlight on our vision for Bahrain, and to share experiences and knowledge so that it will benefit not only our nation but also the entire region.”

“We have identified several key areas of growth that we are concentrating upon to encourage the industry and the national economy. Our entry into the Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Dubai markets are a step forward towards achieving these goals.”

Through BaPDA’s collaboration with Top Expo Group and other exhibition management companies for several future events not only in Kuwait, but also in Dubai and Saudi Arabia, it has decisively demonstrated its keen commitment to effectively support and guide the property development industry.

BaPDA is a non-profit organisation established in 2010 with the vision of becoming Bahrain’s recognised property development association.
